Helena Syrkus was a Polish architect, co-founder of the artists' and architects' group "Praesens", and was at the centre of the international architecture congress CIAM (Congrès Internationaux d'Architecture Moderne ) as a pioneering figure of Polish modernism. Her correspondence with her closest companions, including Le Corbusier, Sigfried Giedion and Walter Gropius, was researched and published in the book "CIAM Archipel. The Letters of Helena Syrkus".

A-Place K907 is a minimal apartment located in Warsaw, Poland, designed by Thisispaper Studio. The apartment is situated in the Praga District.

Completed in 1970, for years it was the best known furniture house in Warsaw, and in 2012 it became the temporary seat of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
I documented this unique post-war modernist building before the pavilion architecture was destroyed in 2016.
"Emilia: furniture, museum, modernism" is a portrait of this building.
BAU NETZ
Architectural photography for Architekturbüro Scheder. A small house sits between two buildings on the edge of a forest in Hohenecken, just outside the city of Kaiserslautern in south-west Germany.
